A page plan before any design.
A 45-minute discovery call, a look at three local competitors, and a sitemap with a page-by-page outline. You approve it before design starts.
Build · Stage 01
A hand-coded website, built for speed and designed around how your customers decide.
Your website has one job in the first five seconds: make it obvious what you do, who it’s for, and how to get in touch. Everything else comes after that.
We code each site by hand, on whatever suits the job. That’s usually Astro or plain HTML for a fast marketing site, React if you need something interactive like a quote calculator, or a custom WordPress theme if your team will be editing it every week. We don’t start from a template, and we don’t load anything your visitors don’t need.
Who this is for: a business that wants a really fast site, a design of its own, or features a theme can’t handle. If a standard WordPress site at a lower cost suits you better, see WordPress Development.
A 45-minute discovery call, a look at three local competitors, and a sitemap with a page-by-page outline. You approve it before design starts.
Headings, service descriptions and calls to action, written from a 30-minute chat with you. You check the facts and we sort out the wording.
We design your homepage and one inner page first, on phone and desktop. Two rounds of revisions are included.
Astro or plain HTML for fast marketing sites, React when you need interactive features such as calculators, portals or booking flows, or a hand-coded WordPress theme when your team edits content every week. Everything is written from scratch, without templates or page builders.
Your main content loads within 2.5 seconds on mobile, and we aim for a mobile PageSpeed score of 90+. Optimised images, no unused scripts, and hosting in an Australian data centre.
Checked against WCAG 2.2 AA: colour contrast, keyboard use, headings, form labels and image alt text.
We connect a simple content editor for the pages you update often, such as services, prices and blog posts. If you'd rather not, we can handle updates on a care plan.
Every form sends to your inbox and keeps a backup copy, has spam protection and a privacy notice, and is tracked as a conversion in Google Analytics 4.
A unique title and description for every page, LocalBusiness schema, an XML sitemap submitted to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, and your Google Business Profile linked. If you're replacing an old site, we redirect the old page addresses.
We test on real phones and browsers before launch. Anything we built that breaks in the first 30 days is fixed free.
You own: the domain (registered in your name), the full source code in a repository you control, the content, and your Analytics and Search Console accounts.
Paid directly by you: hosting, domain renewal and any paid add-ons such as a content editor or form service. We tell you the yearly cost before you start.
You get a written scope listing pages, features, the tech stack and the price.
Sitemap, page outlines and copy for you to approve.
Homepage and one inner page, with two revision rounds. The rest follows the approved style.
Hand-coded and reviewed by you on a private link before it goes live.
Phone, browser, speed, accessibility, form and tracking checks, then launch and sitemap submission.
Source code, editor training if your site has one, and fixes for anything that breaks.
Most 5–8 page custom sites take 5–6 weeks. Sites with React features or a client portal take longer, and your quote says how long.
Choose custom-coded when speed, a unique design or features like calculators, portals or booking flows matter most. Choose our WordPress service when you mainly want to edit pages yourself at a lower cost. We'll recommend one in writing after the discovery call.
