eCommerce Websites

Selling online without babysitting the orders.

An eCommerce website is an online store that takes orders and payments without you handling each one manually. We build these on WooCommerce, which runs on WordPress — so the store and the rest of your site are one system you can edit yourself, not two you pay separately to maintain.

Why WooCommerce

It runs on WordPress, which means one system, one login, no monthly platform fee, and full ownership of your own data. If you later want to move, you can take everything with you.

Who this is for

A business selling physical products, a service business adding a small product line, or an existing store that loses too many customers at checkout.

What's included in our WooCommerce website development

Built on WooCommerce, with real running costs.

Your store runs inside WordPress with no platform fee. Before we start, you get a year-one table of hosting, plugin licences and payment fees, so there are no surprise bills.

Your catalogue, organised.

Categories, filters (size, colour, price) and product variations, with up to 50 products loaded and a spreadsheet template for adding the rest.

Payments Australians use.

Card payments through Stripe or Square, Apple Pay and Google Pay, PayPal, and Afterpay or Zip if you want them.

Australian shipping that adds up.

Live Australia Post, Sendle or StarTrack rates, or flat and zone rules you set. We test the price for metro, regional and WA/NT addresses, plus free-shipping thresholds and click-and-collect.

GST handled properly.

Prices shown GST-inclusive, and order invoices that show your ABN and the GST amount.

Store policies under Australian law.

Shipping, returns and refunds pages written to fit the Australian Consumer Law guarantees, plus a privacy policy. We flag wording like "no refunds", which isn't allowed.

Emails that bring buyers back.

Branded order, shipping and refund emails, and an abandoned-cart reminder sequence with a working unsubscribe.

Sales tracking from day one.

GA4 ecommerce events (product views, add to cart, checkout, purchase), and the Meta Pixel with Conversions API and a product catalogue ready for Instagram and Facebook ads.

Checkout tested end to end.

Real test orders with every payment and shipping option, plus a refund, a stock update and every customer email.

Training and simple reports.

How to add products, process orders and refunds and manage stock, and a monthly sales summary you can read in two minutes.

You own: the store, the product data, the customer list and every account.

Paid directly by you: hosting, plugin renewals and payment fees, all listed before you start.

How we work

  1. Weeks 1–2

    Store plan

Categories, shipping rules, payment options and year-one costs.

  2. Weeks 2–4

    Design

Home, category, product, cart and checkout pages, with two revision rounds.

  3. Weeks 4–6

    Build and load products

    On a private staging store.

  4. Weeks 6–7

    Payments, shipping, GST and emails

All connected and set up in your name.

  5. Week 8

    Test orders and launch

Real orders tested, then the store goes live.

  6. Weeks 8–12

Training and 30 days of support

Fixes for anything we built, free for 30 days.

Most stores take 6–10 weeks. Product data and photos arriving on time is the biggest factor.

Frequently asked questions

WooCommerce or Shopify — which should I use?

Shopify is simpler to start and charges a monthly fee plus transaction costs. WooCommerce has no platform fee, gives you full ownership, and sits inside the WordPress site you already have. We build on WooCommerce.

Can I add products myself afterwards?

Yes — that's the point of building it this way. Adding a product is a form, not a support ticket.

What about Australian shipping and GST?

Both are configured during the build — shipping zones and rates for Australian carriers, and GST handling set up correctly from the start.
